MEET GEORGIE
As a kid of the 80’s, Georgie is all about colour, having fun, living life to the fullest and her funky bright labels and delicious wine range reflects just that.
Spending her formative years in the Clare Valley, South Australia, Georgie spent a great deal of time learning from the ground up. She was vineyard worker at Leasingham wines for three years and then went on to be a contractor in the Valley, where she had the pleasure of working for Knappstein, Pikes, Taylors and Kilikanoon - just to name a few!
A love of all things wine-related clearly flows in the family as Georgie has spent time shadowing her winemaker father Josef Orbach. “I love working alongside my Dad, following in his footsteps has taught me my knowledge so far in the wine world. It’s a pleasure working with him and I look forward to many years ahead”.
When the time came to launch her own wine label in 2015, Georgie knew that she wanted to make wine that could be enjoyed for all occasions, seasons, moods and tastes as “I believe life is too short to just cellar your wine”. Instead of matching food and wine, Georgie matches wine and music from her favourite 80’s and 90’s songs.. look out for each song on her wine labels!

The Orbach Family has a historic passion for viticulture that ensures their wines are crafted from the highest quality grapes. Georgie’s collection references the pop-rock sounds of the 80’s – sophisticated labels with an underlying punk attitude.
